I hope you found today’s class useful. Well, first, I’d like to thank you for writing your “self-introductions”. I really enjoyed reading them, and I think it was a good chance to get to know each other a bit better.
Okay, let’s move on to this week’s blog writing activity. This week for homework, our theme is travel, and the question is “If you could go ANYWHERE in the world, where would you like to go?” So, if money and time were no problem, where would you like to travel to, and why? This can be somewhere domestic – in Japan – or somewhere international. Be specific: tell us exactly what you’d like to do there.
Personally, I’ve been to a few places around the world: Greece, South Korea, France, America, England, Singapore, and, of course, Japan and Australia. And I’d love to visit many other places. But, the one place I’d really like to go to is France, again. I LOVED France! I went to France in 2007, but it was only for 4 days!! I was in Paris for half a day, and the rest of the time I was in a small country town called “Compienge” which is about 2 hours north of Paris. I was there for work, so unfortunately I couldn’t do much sightseeing. So, if I had the chance, I’d love to go back to France and see more of the sights. In particular, I really want to experience the atmosphere. I think that Paris is a very stylish city. The people there are very casual and laidback, but also very passionate and stylish at the same time. I’d love to spend time just walking around the city, sipping coffee at the cafes and eating delicious food at the restaurants. Of course I’d love to see all of the famous sights like the Eiffel Tower, and of course check out the museums and art galleries. But, I’d also really like to go to the countryside and experience that side of France, too. So, if I had enough money and time, I’d really love to go to France.

Hi Kris. I read your blog. You have a lot of topics about where you want to go. I don’t have any ideas now. So, I have to think about it right a second. You love France so much! Maybe there are beautiful places country sides of France, too. And that’s a great picture front of the page! I want to get it!
返信削除Hmmm, where I want to go? I want to go to…..America! What a normal idea. Anyway I want to go to America. I have never been to there in my life. In fact, I have no experiences about trip abroad. So, I should go to America for the first time.
I had seen two beautiful pictures of America before. Maybe I was a junior high school student at that time. First one was a picture of nature. It was an amazing picture. I don’t know where it took. But, I thought “I should go there someday” at that time. Second one was about Christmas party. Nice decorations, nice house, nice food and a BIG Christmas tree were in the picture. I didn’t know how Americans decorates house, tree, tables, wall, and so on. So, that was surprise for me. I want to feel how fun real Christmas party. And eat delicious food!
Also, if I go there, I can find lots of differences between Japan and America. This experience makes me more international person. This is really important thing, don’t you think so?

In the United States, there are a lot of sightseeing spots. For instance, New York, Las Vegas, Washington D.C, Niagara, and Grand Canyon, etc. My wanting to go is New York, Niagara, and Grand Canyon. I want to see the Statue of Liberty in New York. And I want to go to the shopping.

Hello everyone.In my opinion,I want to go to Italy.
You may say that the country which the United States wants to see the sights of most.
Certainly,I also want to go there.But I want to go to Italy more than the United States.

Australia is famous for Great Barrier Reaf.There is big shelf of coral.About 400 kind of coral and 1500 kind of fish live in there.
Above all,Australia is very beautiful city.So,there are called garden city.
The time difference between Australia and Japan is not so differ.So,I think that people who never been to abroad,it is easy to travel

First, I would like to watch the baseball in America. I sometimes watch the major leagues on TV. Major leagues are different from Japanese baseball. For example, impact, the baseball stadium and so on. So, I really would like to feel bodily sensation of the home of baseball. Oh, America is also the home of football. I also would like to watch football.

But travelling makes me unpleasant.For example,

At first, I want to go to France.

I like the Renaissance art.
It is stored up the Louvre on Paris in France.
French food is famous around the world.
And, France is hometown of classic music.
Second, I want to go to Spain.
I like art nouveau. I like the best Antonio Gaudiy Conrnet of art nouveau.
Antonio Gaudiy come from Spain. So , There is Gaudiy’s art in Spain.
Gaudiy is architect. Sagurada famiriya and Kasa mira are Gaudiy’s masterpiece.
Kasamira is apartment. Survey of Kasamira looks like sea. Interior decorations of kasamira ; as if to stand in the sea.
Sakurada fairiya is church.Sakurada famiriya is unfinished. But, carving of Sakurada famiriya is very beautiful.

First,I want to walk a street in India.I heard that there are many cows and camel on streets.It is very interesting.
Second,I would love to visit palaces.In India,there are lots of old buildings.They are placed on the World Heritage List.Their color is only white and their shapes are unique.I love World Heritage sites,so I want to watch them.
Third,I want to see a Indian festival.In India,when people hold the festival,they throw colorful sands and wear brightly colored clothes.What a brilliant festival is!
